Projet Overview
Bad Habit App Project Brief
We all have bad habits that are hard to break because they’re deeply ingrained and automatic. Such habits feel personal—like playing games too much or procrastinating—but they’re actually common and affect others too. In this project, you’ll develop an app to help change these behaviors.
This involves a structured framework, based on James Clear’s model, which includes four key stages: cue, craving, response, and reward. These stages form a continuous feedback loop, motivating the maintenance of new habits.
Why Dream Pillow?
Poor sleep affects a vast portion of the population, leading to significant health and productivity issues. The consequences of inadequate sleep are far-reaching, impacting mental health, cognitive function, and even physical health.
The increasing use of technology late at night, which interferes with natural sleep patterns. An app that guides users through the process of adjusting their sleep habits can provide the necessary tools and support to establish a healthier sleep routine.

MOOD BOARD
The choice of a purple "Neon Future" style combined with a dark background ensures that the app is suitable for nighttime use, protecting the eyes while providing clear visual effects.
This design style complements the app's name, "Dream Pillow," enhancing the dreamlike and fantastical sensation it conveys, thus enriching the user's visual experience and emotional resonance.
Comparative Analysis
We compared several similar apps on the market and found that most sleep tracking apps either lack sleep aid audio or offer very limited choices, while apps designed for relaxation do not have sleep tracking capabilities.
We plan to combine these features, providing relaxation audio while also helping users track and analyze their sleep patterns.
